What kind of key does your Honda use?

Common questions
How long does it take to program a Honda key?
Usually 10 to 20 minutes once we're at your car, on top of cutting the blade. Older transponder keys for a Civic or Accord program quickly. Smart fobs on newer models can take a bit longer, and all-keys-lost jobs run longer still. Most spare-key visits wrap up inside an hour.
Can you program a used Honda fob I bought online?
Sometimes, but don't count on it. Plenty of Honda smart fobs lock to the first vehicle they're married to and can't be reused. Some older remote head keys will take a reflash.
